Role & responsibilities
Develop recent business prospects for industrial automation and electrical automation solutions.
Identify and develop customers across industries such as Steel, Cement, Power, Water & Wastewater, Manufacturing, Automotive, Process Industries and Machine Building.
Generate qualified enquiries through direct customer visits, cold calling, references, networking, digital channels and market research.
Develop relationships with OEMs, EPC companies, consultants, plant heads, maintenance teams and system integrators.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the engineering and estimation team for technical-commercial proposals.
Prepare and submit quotations, techno-commercial offers and solution proposals.
Follow up on enquiries from initial requirement through negotiation, PO receipt and order execution.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM/MIS records.
Conduct regular customer visits and identify upcoming projects and automation requirements.
Develop and maintain a database of existing and prospective customers.
Coordinate with Siemens and other technology partners whenever required.




Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer requirements.
Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Support management in developing recent markets, customers and business segments.
Coordinate with project, procurement, finance and service teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile Candidates should have a good understanding of:
PLC / SCADA / HMI systems
Siemens S7-1200 / S7-1500
Siemens TIA Portal
Siemens SINAMICS Drives
Industrial communication networks such as PROFINET / PROFIBUS / Modbus
Control panels and electrical automation
Industrial instrumentation and automation solutions
Industry 4.0 / IIoT / Edge Computing added advantage
Basic understanding of electrical drawings, automation architecture and BOMs

Candidates from an Industrial Automation / Electrical Automation / Control Systems sales background will be preferred.
