We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer specializing in ABAP, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and the ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) to design and build contemporary, cloud-ready extensions on S/4HANA. The ideal candidate has solid core ABAP fundamentals combined with hands-on experience extending SAP systems via BTP, and building clean, service-based applications using RAP.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop RAP-based business applications (managed/unmanaged scenarios) for SAP S/4HANA
Build side-by-side and in-app extensions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
Develop using CDS views, AMDPs, and Fiori Elements/Smart Templates
Build and maintain interfaces/integrations using IDocs and Web Services
Expose and consume OData services (V2 & V4) via SAP NetWeaver Gateway
Apply strong ABAP OO and design pattern principles in all custom development
Perform performance tuning and runtime analysis using ABAP Test Cockpit and related tools
Translate business/customer requirements into technical designs, even where user stories aren't fully detailed
Make local architectural/design decisions and guide the team on ABAP/BTP/RAP best practices
Collaborate with functional consultants to align extensions with S/4HANA functional areas

SAP ABAP (10+ years) solid OO ABAP and design patterns

Experience with ABAP ADT (Eclipse) and/or SAP Business Application Studio

SAP certification in ABAP, RAP, or BTP development
Exposure to CI/CD / DevOps pipelines for BTP deployments
