What You Will Own

This is a hands-on senior role. You will own the backend and the technical standard of a product being built for real businesses.
Build and harden production backend services in Go
Set the bar for code quality, security, and reliability - and hold the team to it
Make the architecture calls, and own the trade-offs behind them
Own deployment and keep the platform stable in production
Raise the whole team's pace by using AI development tools well

You May Be a Valuable Fit If You
Have 8+ years building real production systems, and can point to ones you are proud of
Know Go - or are a solid Python / Java / C# / Node engineer who can convert to Go quickly with AI tools (most Go engineers converted from another language)




Think in terms of trade-offs, not just features - you weigh security, performance, and maintainability
Have raised the standard of a team around you, formally or informally
Use AI coding tools as an amplifier, and want to work somewhere that expects it
Are comfortable owning your work end-to-end without heavy process

Nice to Have
SaaS or B2B platform experience
Interest in AI/LLM integration
Familiarity with data-protection (GDPR) requirements

This Role Is Not for Everyone You will have real ownership and move rapid, with little process to hide behind. Engineers who want to own outcomes and set the standard thrive here. If you prefer a large, highly structured organisation with narrow scope, this is not the right fit - and that is completely fine.
