About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect / Technical Lead to design and lead the development of a School Management System from scratch.

The ideal candidate should have previously built a software product from the ground up, managed a development team, and taken a product into production. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with robust focus on architecture and backend development.

Key Responsibilities
Design the complete architecture of the School Management System.
Define backend, database, API, web and mobile architecture.
Lead and mentor a team of developers.
Make technology and architecture decisions.
Develop core backend modules and APIs.
Review code and ensure development standards.
Design for scalability, security, performance and maintainability.
Manage deployment, cloud infrastructure and production issues.
Work closely with the product/business team to convert requirements into technical solutions.

Java / Spring Boot

React Native or Flutter – Mobile App Development
PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB
REST APIs & API integrations
System Design & Software Architecture
Microservices / Modular Architecture
AWS / Cloud Infrastructure
Docker & CI/CD
Git

Must Have
5+ years of software development experience
Previous experience building a product from scratch
Previous team leadership/management experience
Solid backend and system-design experience
Experience taking software from architecture development deployment production
Hands-on experience with mobile application development using React Native or Flutter

Positive to Have Experience with ERP, School Management Systems, SaaS, CRM, HRMS, POS or other complex business applications.

Education: B.Tech / BE / MCA / M.Tech preferred.
