Junior Video Editor

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our post-production team. The ideal candidate should have a valuable understanding of editing, storytelling, music, pacing, and visual aesthetics, with an interest in wedding films and cinematic content.

Responsibilities
Edit wedding films, teasers, trailers, reels, and short-form videos.
Organise and manage video footage and project files.
Perform basic colour correction, sound editing, transitions, and pacing.
Follow the creative direction and editing style of The Ovian Studios.
Work closely with senior editors and the creative team.
Complete assigned projects within deadlines.
Make revisions based on internal/client feedback.
Maintain proper file organisation and project backups.





Requirements
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or Photoshop is an advantage.
Good understanding of music, storytelling, composition, and timing.
Robust attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and improve editing skills.
Previous experience in wedding or event editing is preferred but not mandatory.
