DevOps Engineer Responsibilities
To support development team and implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to ensure smooth software delivery.
Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
Write scripts and automation using Python/Groovy/Java/Bash.
Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering Team to ensure that recent environments meet requirements and conform to best practices.
To run Proof of Concepts for current technologies to improve existing software stacks/infrastructure.

DevOps Engineer Requirements
Possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
Have 3+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.
Experience in administering Linux environment.
Experience in code deployment tools (Puppet, Ansible,



and Chef).
Solid working knowledge in DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins and an artifact store.
Able to maintain Java and Python based web applications. Knowledge in deploying microservices is a plus.
Familiar with a cloud IaaS like Amazon Web Service.
Have a working knowledge of SQL databases.
Knowledge with Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience in Big Data domain is a plus.
Must possess an open mind and problem-solving attitude.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
