Department: Food & Beverage (F&B;)

Position: Steward

Reports To: Captain / F&B; Supervisor / F&B; Manager

Job Purpose To provide friendly and effective service to guests, maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the service area, and support the F&B; team in delivering a good dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist guests in a polite and qualified manner.
Set up tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, and other service items.
Serve food and beverages as instructed by the Captain or Supervisor.
Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant and service areas.
Refill water, cutlery, napkins, and other required items.
Assist Captains and other service staff during busy periods.
Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
Handle crockery, glassware, and service equipment carefully.
Check and maintain the availability of service items.
Assist with restaurant opening and closing activities.
Follow company rules, grooming standards,



and attendance procedures.
Respond to guest requests and complaints politely and inform the supervisor when necessary.
Coordinate with the Kitchen and F&B; team for smooth service.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum qualification: 10th / Plus Two preferred.
Previous hotel or restaurant experience is preferred.
Valuable communication and customer-service skills.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Good personal hygiene and grooming.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
