Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
Teach topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Statistics, and Arithmetic.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
Evaluate student performance through tests, quizzes, projects, and examinations.
Provide additional support to struggling learners and enrichment activities for advanced students.
Use practical examples, technology, and interactive methods to make mathematical concepts easier to understand.
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
Communicate student progress to parents and school administration.
Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and career development programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics (B.Sc. Mathematics or equivalent).
B.Ed.
(Bachelor of Education) is generally required.
CTET/TET qualification may be preferred or mandatory for many schools.
Valuable communication and classroom management skills.
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classroom technologies.
