REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

/n

Minimum 5 years of hands-on Vertex O Series or Vertex Cloud experience — configuration and administration. Vertex - end to end installation / configuration / Setting rules / instance management
/n
Solid understanding of U.S. sales & use tax rule structures
/n
Experience with Boolean logic and conditional tax rule configuration in a tax engine
/n
Instance setup and setting management expertise
/n
Familiarity with integrating Vertex into large-scale e-commerce or ERP environments
/n
Understanding of U.S.



marketplace facilitator legislation and its impact on tax engine configuration
/n
Ability to work within a shared/part time consulting model, coordinating across team members
/n

NICE TO HAVE

/n

/n
Vertex O Series Associate Implementer certification or equivalent
/n
Prior experience supporting a large marketplace platform
/n
Avalara AvaTax experience as a complementary platform
/n
Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP integrations with Vertex
