Job Summary / About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Kafka Administrator to provide production support for enterprise messaging and event-streaming platforms. The role involves Kafka administration, troubleshooting, incident management, RCA, and support across Azure and Kubernetes environments.

Key Responsibilities
Administer Kafka clusters, brokers, topics, partitions, and replication.
Manage consumer groups, ACLs, and Kafka configurations.
Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka production issues.
Perform incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Support Kafka Connect, connectors, and Confluent Platform.




Support Azure Event Hub and AKS/Kubernetes environments.
Work with Linux-based settings for troubleshooting.
Handle P1/P2 incidents and coordinate with Tier 1/Tier 3 teams.
Support client escalations and maintain operational documentation.

Required Qualifications / Must-Have Skills
3+ years of Application / Production / Platform Support experience.
1+ year of hands-on Kafka Administration experience.
Kafka cluster and broker administration.
Topics, partitions, replication, and consumer groups.
Kafka ACLs and security configuration.
Azure and Azure Event Hub.
AKS / Kubernetes.
Linux / Unix.
Production incident management and RCA.
Client/stakeholder communication.
