About the Role

We are looking for a Database Engineer with robust experience in PostgreSQL (Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL preferred) and DynamoDB to support a large-scale payroll and financial services platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database design, performance optimization, data modeling, migration activities, and ensuring high availability of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain scalable relational and NoSQL database solutions.
Create logical and physical data models for enterprise applications.
Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
Design and manage DynamoDB tables, partition keys, sort keys, and secondary indexes.
Implement ETL processes and data migration strategies.
Monitor database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure system reliability.
Develop backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.




Collaborate with application and backend teams on database design and performance improvements.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance standards.
