Description

Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and optimize MongoDB databases in production settings.
Manage and support cloud-native databases including Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Neptune, Google Bigtable, and Google Firestore.
Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery readiness of database platforms.
Collaborate with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to support database-driven solutions.
Troubleshoot database issues and implement proactive monitoring and automation.

Responsibilities

Required Skills
Solid experience with MongoDB DBA administration and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with DynamoDB, Neptune, Bigtable, and Firestore.
Experience working in AWS and/or GCP public cloud environments.
Knowledge of database backup/recovery, replication, clustering, and security best practices.
Valuable understanding of automation, scripting, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

Preferred
Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical enterprise applications.
