The Billing Incharge is responsible for managing billing operations along with insurance processing, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely claim submissions, and productive coordination with insurance providers. The role focuses on minimizing claim rejections and maintaining compliance with financial and insurance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:Billing Duties:
Prepare and process invoices for services/products
Verify billing details such as rates, quantities, taxes, and discounts
Ensure timely and accurate billing to patients, clients, or customers
Maintain proper billing records and documentation
Coordinate with accounts and operations teams for billing accuracy
Generate billing reports and track revenue

Insurance Responsibilities:
Handle insurance claim processing (cashless and reimbursement cases)
Verify patient/customer insurance eligibility and coverage
Coordinate with insurance companies/TPAs for approvals and claim status
Submit pre-authorization requests and required documents
Follow up on pending, rejected, or partially approved claims
Analyze and resolve claim denials or discrepancies
Maintain records of all insurance transactions and communications

Coordination & Compliance:
Liaise with internal departments (front office, accounts, medical/admin teams)




Ensure compliance with insurance policies, company rules, and legal requirements
Train or supervise billing/insurance staff (if applicable)
Improve billing and claim processes to reduce delays and errors

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field
2–5 years of experience in billing and insurance handling
Knowledge of insurance procedures, claims processing, and documentation
Familiarity with GST and accounting basics
Proficiency in billing software, ERP systems (e.g., Tally, hospital software), and MS Excel
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills for dealing with insurance companies and clients

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in hospital/healthcare billing and medical insurance claims
Knowledge of TPA processes and cashless claim systems
Prior team handling experience

Accuracy of billing
Turnaround time for claim processing
Claim approval rate / rejection reduction
Timely collections and outstanding follow-ups

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
