WAITER

Position: Waiter
Department: Food & Beverage / Restaurant

Key Responsibilities
Welcome and attend to guests in a polite and skilled manner.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
Serve food and beverages to guests according to restaurant standards.
Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and hygiene at all times.
Clear and reset tables promptly after guest service.
Assist guests with menu information and basic food/beverage queries.
Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.
Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and inform the supervisor when required.
Check that all orders are served correctly and on time.
Maintain proper grooming, uniform, personal hygiene, and professional behaviour.
Follow all restaurant SOPs, safety procedures, and company policies.




Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Requirements
Previous experience as a Waiter/Steward in a restaurant or hotel is preferred.
Valuable communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work in a team and under pressure during busy hours.
Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
Positive personal hygiene and grooming standards.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
