Quantity Take-Offs: Read architectural and structural drawings to calculate exact material quantities needed for a project.
BOQ Preparation: Create and manage the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to define project scope and costs.
Rate Analysis: Analyze market prices, vendor quotations, and labor costs to prepare detailed cost sheets.
Billing Management: Prepare Running Account (RA) bills, client invoices, and subcontractor bills based on site measurements.
Cost Control: Reconcile materials, monitor project expenditures against approved budgets, and track variations. [1]

Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering or a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience: Usually requires 2 to 7+ years of experience in real estate, infrastructure, or construction.
Technical Software: Solid proficiency in MS Excel,



AutoCAD for reading drawings, and familiarity with ERP or billing systems.
Soft Skills: Numerical accuracy, negotiation skills for dealing with vendors, and cross-functional coordination. [1, 2]
