Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for the secure and productive operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within the college campus. The role involves preventive maintenance, attending electrical complaints, supporting academic and administrative facilities, and ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, circuits, switches, sockets, DBs, MCBs, MCCBs, and related equipment.
Carry out routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems across the campus.
Attend electrical complaints and breakdowns promptly.
Maintain electrical supply to classrooms, laboratories, offices, hostels, workshops, canteens, and other campus facilities.
Assist in the maintenance of generators, UPS systems, transformers, and electrical panels, as applicable.
Carry out minor electrical installations and modifications as required.




Maintain records of electrical maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and replaced components.
Support electrical requirements during college events, examinations, functions, and other campus activities.

Educational Qualification
ITI – Electrician / Electrical Trade preferred.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering may be an added advantage.

Experience
2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance.
Experience in educational institutions, colleges, universities, hospitals, commercial buildings, industries, or large campuses will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
