Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical AutoCAD Draftsman to prepare accurate electrical drawings and documentation for commercial and residential projects. Freshers with relevant AutoCAD training/certification are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
Prepare electrical drawings using AutoCAD 2D
Create power distribution and lighting layouts
Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams and schematic drawings
Prepare earthing, lightning protection and ELV drawings
Work on drawings related to fire alarm, CCTV, access control and public address systems
Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings
Modify drawings based on engineering changes and client comments
Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects and MEP teams
Maintain drawing registers, revisions and project documentation
Assist with quantity take-offs and material schedules




Ensure drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines

Requirements
12th Passed with AutoCAD certification/training
0–5 years of experience; freshers may apply
Valuable knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
Understanding of electrical drawings, symbols and drafting standards
Knowledge of electrical systems used in commercial, residential or industrial projects
Ability to understand engineering drawings and sketches
Valuable attention to detail and coordination skills
Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel
Candidates with experience in EPC, construction, MEP or engineering consultancy will be preferred
