Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PU Manager to manage PU painting, UV coating and finishing operations for modular furniture components. The candidate should have solid hands-on experience in PU/UV finishing, colour matching, spray painting and furniture surface finishing.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily PU Booth, spray painting and UV coating operations as per production plan.
Supervise surface preparation, sanding, putty, primer, sealer, PU coating, polishing and finishing processes.
Handle UV coating and curing processes and ensure proper finish and quality.
Ensure accurate colour matching, shade consistency and approved finish standards.
Identify and control finishing defects such as orange peel, pinholes, scratches, shade variation, sagging and uneven coating.
Manage painters, polishers, UV operators and helpers; allocate manpower and monitor productivity.
Control consumption and wastage of PU paints, hardeners, thinners, UV coatings and other consumables.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Design and Maintenance teams.
Maintain daily production, rejection, rework and material-consumption records.
Ensure PPE, fire safety,



chemical handling, housekeeping and 5S standards are followed.
Coordinate machine maintenance and ensure optimum utilisation of PU booths and UV equipment.

Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years of relevant experience in PU painting / furniture finishing / UV coating.
Hands-on knowledge of MDF, plywood and modular furniture finishing.
Strong knowledge of PU paint mixing, spray-gun operation, colour matching and polishing.
Practical experience in UV coating and curing.
Good manpower handling and shop-floor management skills.
Robust quality consciousness and problem-solving ability.
ITI / Diploma in relevant technical field preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
