Order and delivery: Manage purchase orders, track delivery progress, and ensure materials arrive on time to meet production schedules.
Inventory control: Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock and prevent stockouts.
Cost management: Analyze spending patterns, conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities, and help implement cost reduction initiatives.
Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, invoices, and supplier communications.
Collaboration: Work with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and forecast demand.
Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
