Job Description – Accounts Assistant, Vasanthamayil

Vasanthamayil, a clothing and fashion store in Kangayam, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to manage day-to-day accounting, billing reconciliation, and financial record-keeping for the store.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily sales, purchase, and expense records accurately
Reconcile daily cash and card/UPI collections with billing system totals
Handle petty cash management and maintain proper vouchers/receipts
Record purchase invoices and cross-check with stock received
Maintain ledgers for suppliers, payments, and outstanding dues
Assist in preparing GST-related records and filings (with the store's accountant/CA)
Prepare monthly expense summaries and basic financial reports for the owner
Track staff attendance and assist with salary calculations
Maintain proper filing of bills, invoices, and financial documents




Coordinate with the stock team to ensure billing and inventory records match
Support during audits or year-end account closing

Requirements
Minimum qualification: B.Com or equivalent (commerce background preferred)
0–2 years of experience in accounting/billing (freshers with solid basics welcome)
Working knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software
Good command of MS Excel
Robust attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
Trustworthy and comfortable handling cash
Valuable spoken Tamil; basic English/computer literacy helpful
Willingness to work extended hours during festival/sale season

Pay: From ₹14,000.00 per month
