Job Description – Oncology Nurse

Job Summary

The Oncology Nurse is responsible for providing protected, compassionate, and specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. The role involves patient assessment, administration of prescribed treatments, monitoring for adverse effects, patient education, symptom management, and coordination with the multidisciplinary oncology team.

Key Responsibilities
Assess and monitor oncology patients before, during, and after treatment.
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other prescribed medications as per hospital protocols and scope of practice.
Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects and complications and take appropriate action.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation, medication records, and treatment charts.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
