Position Name – Quality Manager

Department – Quality Control

Location - Barejadi, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Key Responsibilities

· Quality Management: Establish, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across all fabrication and shop-floor operations.

· Inspection Oversight: Supervise incoming raw material checks, in-process dimensional/welding checks, Testing and final pre-dispatch inspections. Ordination with TPI & Client inspection

· Code & Standard Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, API, ISO 9001) for structural or pressure-part fabrication.

· Non-Conformance & Root Cause Analysis: Review Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), lead root cause investigations, and drive corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

· Audit & Vendor Management: Coordinate internal audits, manage client/third-party inspections, and evaluate vendor material quality.

· Team Leadership:



Mentor, train, and manage QC engineers, welding inspectors, and NDT technicians.

Requirements & Skills

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or production engineering.

· Experience: 7 to 10 years of hands-on QA/QC experience within a heavy engineering, steel, or mechanical fabrication manufacturing workplace.

· Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW), NDT methods (UT, RT, MPI, LPI), and reading complex fabrication drawings.

· Certifications: Preferred credentials include ISO Lead Auditor, ASNT Level II/III in NDT, or AWS/CSWIP welding inspection certifications.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
