Job Description – HDPE Pipe Operator (Up to 1000 mm Diameter)

Position: HDPE Pipe Operator
Department: Production
Reporting To: Factory Manager
Location: Pollachi, Tamilnadu

Job Purpose

To operate and monitor HDPE pipe extrusion machines for manufacturing HDPE pipes up to 1000 mm diameter as per production targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Operate HDPE pipe extrusion machines for pipes up to 1000 mm diameter.[ atleast 630mm]
Set machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, vacuum, haul-off speed, and cooling system.
Monitor pipe dimensions, wall thickness, and surface finish during production.
Ensure production is carried out as per quality specifications.
Change dies, calibrators, and sleeves whenever required.
Coordinate with helpers for raw material feeding, pipe cutting, and stacking.
Minimize material wastage and machine downtime.
Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the machine.




Report machine faults or production issues to the Supervisor immediately.
Maintain production records and shift reports.
Follow all safety procedures and use PPE while working.

Skills Required
Knowledge of HDPE pipe extrusion process.
Ability to operate large-diameter extrusion lines up to 1000 mm / 630mm
Understanding of machine settings and process parameters.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to use measuring instruments.

Qualification
ITI / Diploma / Relevant Technical Qualification (Preferred).
Candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HDPE pipe extrusion.
Experience in manufacturing large-diameter HDPE pipes up to 1000 mm is preferred

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
