Manipal Hospitals is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Lab Technician to join our energetic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses to support medical teams in diagnosing and treating diseases. You will be tasked with preparing specimens, conducting tests, recording and interpreting results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
Collect, label, and prepare specimens for analysis.
Conduct various laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
Analyze test results and communicate findings to relevant medical personnel.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to safety and quality control standards in accordance with healthcare protocols.
Document and report test results in a timely manner.
Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory and supplies.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Skills and Qualifications:




Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
Proven experience as a Medical Lab Technician in a clinical laboratory setting.
Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
Proficiency in using laboratory information systems and relevant software.

Tools Required:
Laboratory instruments such as microscopes, centrifuges, and analyzers.
Laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
Personal protective equipment (PPE) for safety in handling specimens.
Standard laboratory supplies such as reagents, slides, and specimen containers.
