We are looking for a skilled TIG / MIG Welder to join our Fabrication team. The candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling components as per engineering drawings, quality standards, and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform TIG and MIG welding operations as per production requirements.
Read and understand engineering drawings and welding specifications.
Carry out welding, fit-up, and fabrication activities.
Set welding machine parameters such as current, voltage, and wire feed speed.
Select suitable welding consumables and welding techniques.
Ensure proper weld quality, appearance, and dimensional accuracy.
Perform grinding, cleaning, and finishing of welded components.
Inspect weld joints and identify welding defects.
Coordinate with Fabrication Fitters and Supervisors for smooth production.
Maintain welding equipment, tools, and workplace cleanliness.
Follow 5S,
safety procedures, and required PPE.
Achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Eligibility & Skills
Qualification: ITI Welder / Fabrication-related trade preferred.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in TIG / MIG welding preferred.
Positive knowledge of TIG and MIG welding processes.
Ability to read basic engineering drawings.
Knowledge of welding parameters and consumables.
Ability to perform fillet and butt welding.
Knowledge of weld defect identification and correction.
Valuable hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Willingness to work in shifts.
Positive discipline, teamwork, and safety awareness.
