Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Structural Draughtsman to join our design team. This role involves preparing exact technical drawings for a variety of building types including commercial, educational, institutional, and residential projects based on architects sketches and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in CAD software, a solid grasp of structural drafting principles, and the ability to translate design intent into accurate construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed working drawings from architects sketches and instructions.
Use CAD software (AutoCAD/ZWCAD) to incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and construction details.
Print and organize CAD drawings for use by architects, engineers, and project managers.




Conduct site visits to take measurements and prepare as-built drawings when required.
Collaborate closely with architects to ensure compliance with building specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Requirements:
Diploma in Civil or ITI certification in structural drafting (or equivalent).
6 to 10 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or ZWCAD.
Solid understanding of sketching fundamentals and design principles.
High attention to detail and mathematical accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
