Develop system drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication details for curtain wall, unitized/stick façade, windows, and doors
Select appropriate aluminum systems (e.g., Schüco, Reynaers, Alutech, Technal, or in-house profiles) based on project loads, performance, and budget
Perform structural glazing, wind load, thermal, and water penetration calculations (or coordinate with structural/façade consultants)
Review architectural drawings and translate them into technical, buildable façade/window details
Prepare BOQs, cut lists, and hardware schedules
Lead design reviews with clients, architects, and consultants; resolve design queries (RFIs)
Mentor and review the work of junior designers/draftsmen
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS, ASTM, EN, or local building codes)
Coordinate with production, QC, and site teams to ensure design intent is executed correctly




Support value engineering and cost optimization

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
3–6 years of experience in aluminum window/façade design, with at least 3 years in a senior/lead role
Solid knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory); working knowledge of Revit, Inventor, or Logikal/Orgadata is a plus
Deep understanding of aluminum extrusion systems, glazing types, gaskets, thermal breaks, and weatherproofing
Experience with structural/thermal calculations (or close coordination with consultants)
Robust communication and client-facing skills

Prior experience with high-rise or large-scale commercial façade projects preferred
