Role Description The Assistant Clinical Assessor will provide clinical and developmental support across Kove centres, with a focus on child assessment, enrolled-parent support, facilitator guidance, developmental monitoring, and clinical coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct developmental screenings and routine assessments for children aged 2–6 years.
Conduct parent interviews and gather relevant developmental history.
Maintain records of assessment reports, PLOP summaries, developmental observations, and recommendations.
Act as the SPOC for all enrolled parents for developmental updates, routine concerns, communication, and follow-up.
Guide facilitators on individual children's developmental, behavioural, communication, and learning needs.
Monitor children's developmental progress and flag concerns requiring clinical review.
Coordinate referrals and follow-ups with therapy and other relevant specialists.
Coordinate with facilitators, therapists, and centre teams to ensure continuity of support.
Follow Kove's clinical SOPs, confidentiality, documentation, and child-safety protocols.




Escalate complex clinical concerns and cases to the Clinical Assessor / Cluster Operations Manager.

Qualifications
M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology / Child Psychology / Applied Psychology
OR
B.Ed.

Special

Education / Master's in Special Education
Relevant experience in early childhood, developmental assessment, special education, or early intervention.

Experience & Skills
3–5 years of experience working with children, preferably aged 2–6 years.
Knowledge of developmental milestones and developmental screening.
Robust observation, documentation, and report-writing skills.
Positive parent communication and follow-up skills.
Ability to guide facilitators and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work independently across multiple centres.
