Minimum 3+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting (F&A;) operations.

Hands-on experience in Record to Report (R2R), General Ledger (GL) Close, and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

Solid experience in Insurance Accounting and London Market Insurance financial processes.
n
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and finance-related applications.
n
Positive understanding of Lloyd’s of London work structure and insurance operations.
n
Ability to manage teams, collaborate with clients, and provide business insights.
n
Experience in driving process improvements and transformation initiatives.
n
Robust knowledge of SLA/KPI management and client audit compliance.
n
Experience in handling month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.

nInsurance Accounting Responsibilities:

Record and manage premium income (Written, Earned,



Unearned Premium).
n
Record and monitor claims expenses (Paid Claims, Case Reserves, IBNR).
n
Process reinsurance transactions (Ceded Premiums, Recoverables).
n
Ensure accurate Chart of Accounts (COA) mapping from source systems.
n
Maintain and reconcile sub-ledgers with the General Ledger.
n

nPeriod-End Close Activities:

Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
n
Post accruals, deferrals, and adjustment journal entries.
n
Review and validate trial balances and investigate variances.
n
Ensure timely completion of close activities as per the close calendar.
n
