Seeking an experienced Database Automation Engineer to automate DBA operations across Oracle, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL settings, improving efficiency, reducing ticket volumes, and enhancing MTTR.
Key Responsibilities:
Automate DBA operational activities using PowerShell and/or Python.
Build automation playbooks using Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools.
Analyse DBA tickets and automate repetitive activities.
Automate user provisioning, access management, and role assignments.
Automate database health checks, maintenance, job monitoring, remediation, refreshes, cloning, and backup/recovery validation.
Integrate automation with IAM, monitoring, and observability tools.
Implement self-service and event-driven auto-remediation workflows.
Develop ServiceNow or ticketing tool workflows for service requests and automated fulfilment.
Identify process improvements to reduce manual effort and MTTR.
