Job Summary An Assembly Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, installing, and testing mechanical components and machinery according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly and smooth operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions
Assemble mechanical parts, components, and machines
Perform drilling, tapping, cutting, grinding, and fitting work
Use measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Inspect assembled parts for alignment, accuracy, and quality
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies
Maintain tools,



equipment, and workplace safety standards
Coordinate with production and quality teams

Required Skills
Knowledge of mechanical assembly and fitting techniques
Ability to read technical drawings
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
Basic knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics (preferred)
Valuable problem-solving and teamwork skills

Qualification
ITI Fitter / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Apprenticeship or industrial training preferred

Experience
Fresher to 3 years experience (depending on company requirements)

Pay: ₹9,500.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
