Backend Developer 1 to 4 years experience | In office, Kanchrapara

nOBS Digital Services is looking for a Backend Developer to join our team on-site in Kanchrapara. You'll work on (client projects / our own products swap in whichever applies) building and maintaining the server side of real applications that are already in use.

nWhat you'll do

Build and maintain REST APIs and backend logic for (web applications / client projects)
n
Design and work with databases writing effective queries, not just CRUD
n
Fix bugs in existing code and understand systems you didn't originally write
n
Integrate third-party APIs (payments, SMS, email, auth, etc. as needed)
n
Work with the frontend team to make sure the API actually fits what the screen needs
n
Deploy and monitor your own code not just hand it off and forget it
n

nWhat we're looking for

n

n
14 years of hands-on backend development experience
n
Solid with (Node.js/Express or PHP/Laravel, or Python/Django pick what matches your stack) and SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)



or MongoDB
n
Comfortable writing and debugging your own code without step-by-step hand-holding
n
Understanding of REST API design, authentication (JWT/sessions), and basic security practices
n
Git for version control comfortable with branches and resolving conflicts
n
Able to read an error message and find the actual cause, not just search-and-paste a fix
n

nNice to have

Experience with (Docker / AWS or any cloud hosting / CI-CD)
n
Exposure to a frontend framework (React, Vue) enough to talk to frontend devs in their language
n
Prior experience in a client-services or agency setting, handling multiple projects
