Cardiac Technician – Roles & Responsibilities
Perform ECG, 2D Echo, TMT/Stress Test and Holter Monitoring as instructed.
Prepare patients and explain procedures before the test.
Operate and maintain cardiac diagnostic equipment safely.
Record accurate test findings and maintain patient records.
Assist the cardiologist during cardiac investigations and procedures.
Monitor patients during tests and immediately report any abnormal findings.
Follow infection control, patient safety and hospital protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of cardiac equipment.
Ensure patient confidentiality.
Attend training and maintain required competency.
