Key responsibilities include:
Positive knowledge in Wing and fuselage structure, both primary and secondary structure of Airbus fleet. (Working experience in A350 and A220 is an added advantage)
Understanding of in-service damages and operator requirement
Preparation of repair definitions, Technical Disposition (TD), repair schemes, and RDTS.
Analyse and design the modifications or corrective actions referring to the Structural Repair Manual.
Provide required design inputs to Static & Fatigue Assessment teams for their investigation.
Knowledge of finding relevant check stress files for the applicable WVs and Knowledge in the preparation of Static/fatigue Repair work file is an added advantage.
Experience in Aircraft repairs – Provide design solutions to in-service damages (accidental and ageing).
Sound knowledge in SRM chapters and repair principles.
Sound knowledge in ATA chapters and NDT inspections.
A/C materials specs, fastener types and rules.
A/C Design Principles and GD&T;, Positive knowledge in fuselage and wing structure and drawing reading.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-priority tasks, responsiveness.
To support in U.S / Canada work timings.
