Role

Develop and optimize multi-camera IP video streaming pipelines using RTSP/RTP, GStreamer and H.264/H.265 with hardware-accelerated decoding.

Key Responsibilities
Integrate multiple IP cameras over Ethernet using RTSP/ONVIF.
Develop and maintain robust RTSP/RTP streaming pipelines.
Develop GStreamer pipelines for H.264/H.265 video processing.
Integrate hardware-accelerated video decoding.
Implement stream reconnect, fault isolation and camera health monitoring.
Monitor FPS, bitrate, packet loss and latency.
Optimize CPU, memory, latency, buffering and frame-drop performance.
Deliver decoded frames to AI preprocessing/Hailo pipelines.
Debug network, streaming, codec and GStreamer issues.

Required Skills:
Strong C/C++ and Linux.
Hands-on GStreamer development.




Solid RTSP/RTP and H.264/H.265 knowledge.
Multithreading and Linux debugging.
Experience with IP cameras and network streaming.
Wireshark, GDB and Git.
V4L2 / DRM / DMA-BUF / zero-copy is a plus.
Raspberry Pi, hardware video acceleration or Hailo experience is a robust plus.
