Discharge Summary Typist – Position: Discharge Summary Typist Department: Medical Records / Administration Location: Unittas Multispeciality Hospital, OMR Kazhipattur Job Responsibilities: Prepare and type accurate discharge summaries based on doctors’ notes and medical records. Ensure patient details, diagnosis, treatment, procedures, medications, and follow-up instructions are entered correctly. Coordinate with doctors and medical staff for corrections or missing information.

Maintain confidentiality of patient medical records and information. Complete discharge summaries within the required timeframe. Proofread documents for spelling, grammar, medical terminology, and accuracy.

Maintain and organize discharge-related records as per hospital procedures.



Coordinate with the Medical Records Department for proper documentation and filing.

Eligibility: Any degree / Diploma with positive typing skills. Previous experience in hospital discharge summary typing or medical records is preferred. Valuable knowledge of English and medical terminology. Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Word. Valuable typing speed and accuracy. Freshers with relevant skills may also apply.
