Field Service Engineer

Role Overview looking for a hands-on Field Service Engineer / Technician for installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting of waste-management and industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, service and troubleshoot machinery at customer sites.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical and electromechanical issues.
Troubleshoot motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, conveyors, pumps, valves and seals.
Troubleshoot control panels, motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors and basic PLC/HMI systems.
Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
Carry out preventive maintenance, alignment, repairs and component replacement.
Attend breakdowns and provide timely solutions to minimise downtime.
Train customer operators on machine operation, safety and basic maintenance.
Prepare service, commissioning and breakdown reports.
Coordinate with Engineering,



Production and Purchase teams for technical issues and spares.
Provide feedback for machine/design improvements.
Travel extensively across India and overseas as required.

Required Skills
Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
2–6 years of experience in industrial machinery, equipment servicing or field service.
Robust hands-on knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems.
Practical knowledge of motors, gearboxes, VFDs, sensors, control panels, bearings, shafts and mechanical assemblies.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valuable customer-handling and communication skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.

Candidates with hands-on experience in industrial machinery, automation, conveyors, pumps, waste-management or process equipment will be preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
