About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with hands-on experience in General Ledger accounting and controllership activities. The role involves end-to-end ownership of accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while driving process improvements and maintaining robust internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the General Ledger (GL) process, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in line with accounting policies.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of open items.
Support financial statement preparation, P&L; analysis, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS) and internal policies.
Coordinate with auditors (internal & statutory)



during audits and ensure audit readiness.
Assist in controllership activities including internal controls, process documentation, and SOX/ICFR compliance.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 34 years of post-qualification experience.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Hands-on experience in GL accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations.
Exposure to controllership and compliance processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
