An established SEBI-registered Category I merchant banker and capital markets firm is hiring a Head of Deal Origination to lead sourcing of high-value capital market and corporate finance transactions.

Key responsibilities:
Source and originate current business across capital markets and corporate finance
Build relationships with corporates, promoters, financial institutions, investors and intermediaries
Drive origination across IPOs, private placements, debt transactions, M&A; and structured finance
Lead client pitches, presentations and commercial discussions
Work closely with execution teams to ensure seamless deal closure
Identify market prospects, contribute to business growth strategy and mentor junior team members

Relevant backgrounds: investment banking, M&A;, debt capital markets, syndication, IPO origination, banking or credit rating. A demonstrated record of originating and closing transactions is essential.
