Job Responsibilities
Set and operate Horizontal Machining Centre (HMC) machines as per production requirements.
Perform machine setting, tool setting, work offset setting, and job loading/unloading.
Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining specifications.
Set and adjust cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and work-holding devices.
Edit and modify CNC programs as required for production.
Check and maintain tool offsets, wear offsets, and cutting parameters.
Carry out first-piece inspection and ensure components meet drawing specifications.
Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
Monitor machining operations and identify dimensional or surface-finish issues.
Make necessary offset corrections to maintain component quality.
Follow production schedules, process sheets, and work instructions.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow basic preventive maintenance practices.
Follow all safety, quality,



and 5S procedures.
Minimize rejection, rework, tool consumption, and machine downtime.
Maintain production and inspection records.

Required Skills
Hands-on experience in HMC machine setting and operation.
Valuable knowledge of CNC machining processes.
Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls will be an advantage.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and machining parameters.
Basic knowledge of G-code and M-code.
Valuable knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
Ability to troubleshoot basic machining and dimensional issues.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
