Video Editing Intern / Junior Video Editor

Chatterjee Productions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our in-office production team in Howrah. You will work on real client projects, mainly short-form social media content, reels and motion graphics.

Responsibilities
Edit reels, short-form videos and social media content.
Work with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Add captions, transitions, basic motion graphics, sound effects and music.
Follow established editing styles, guidelines and creative direction.
Make revisions based on feedback.
Maintain good editing quality while consistently meeting deadlines.
Organize project files and maintain a clean workflow.
Gradually take responsibility for projects independently as your skills improve.

What we're looking for:
Good understanding of video editing and visual storytelling.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.




Basic to intermediate knowledge of After Effects is preferred.
Positive sense of pacing, composition and music.
Willingness to learn and improve.
Ability to follow instructions and work within a structured workflow.
Strong commitment to deadlines and consistency.
Portfolio/work samples are required.

Work Details:
Location: Howrah, West Bengal
Work type: Full-time, In-office
Working days: Monday–Saturday
Initial period: 2-month paid probation/training
During probation: ₹250 per completed project
Based on performance, there may be an prospect to transition to a fixed salary of ₹12,000/month-15,000/month after the probation period.
