Role & responsibilities
Translate brand requirements and design concepts into functional, aesthetically compelling and commercially viable spaces
Develop interior design concepts and design proposals for retail stores. Prepare mood boards, material palettes, colour schemes, furniture concepts and design presentations.
Develop space planning and layouts while balancing aesthetics, functionality, customer flow and operational requirements.
Prepare and review detailed drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans and furniture layouts.
Develop design details and coordinate with MEP, lighting, signage and other consultants.
Prepare material specifications and finishes schedules.
Coordinate with project managers, architect, contractors, vendors and site teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material samples, quotations,



mock-ups and custom design elements.

Preferred candidate profile
Solid understanding of retail/hospitality planning, customer circulation, functionality and spatial experience.
Experience working on retail stores, restaurants, cafs, hotels, hospitality spaces or other customer-facing environments.
Valuable knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures and interior detailing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and presentation/design tools such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, V-Ray or equivalent software.
Should be able to travel frequently.
Robust design presentation and visualization skills.
Good communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
