Position Summary

Join Our Engineering team building a multi-tenant SaaS platform that transforms healthcare claims risk capture and adjustment. This role designs and implements solutions for payer and provider systems, working autonomously to deliver scalable features that analyze administrative documentation and patient medical records to improve care delivery.

Role & Responsibilities
Design and implement features for healthcare payer and provider solutions
Build scalable, high-quality backend code in Java
Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers on infrastructure, security, and CI/CD pipelines
Partner with Product Management and Innovation teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Deliver sprint commitments including design, coding, review, testing, and automation
Maintain and troubleshoot development and production environments
Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve operational issues

Required Skills (Java-Heavy)
3+ years of skilled software development experience
Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring framework (Boot, Cloud, JPA)




Experience working within microservices-based architectures
RESTful API development
Relational database experience using Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
Proficiency in Angular or React for UI development
Proven experience building consumer-grade web applications with HTML5/CSS
Git version control
Track record delivering customer-facing applications and supporting production systems
Familiarity with AWS services EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, or Lambda in a development context
Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently with guidance from senior team members
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
Experience writing unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, or similar)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Thrives in agile settings

Valuable to Have
Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation/tooling
OpenSearch
Familiarity with both Angular and React
Infrastructure administration and troubleshooting (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
Experience with NoSQL databases
