Job Purpose To prepare accurate and detailed mechanical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring drawings meet project requirements, engineering standards, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, fabrication drawings, and engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop drawings based on engineering concepts, sketches, specifications, and design inputs.
Prepare and update GA drawings, component drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed drawings.
Incorporate revisions and modifications as per engineering requirements.
Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
Coordinate with Engineers and the Design & Engineering team to clarify drawing requirements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, and consistency before submission.
Support preparation of drawings for industrial / infrastructure / plant engineering projects, as applicable.
Follow company drawing standards, templates,



naming conventions, and document-control procedures.

Required Skills
Valuable working knowledge of AutoCAD
Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Knowledge of mechanical drafting, dimensions, tolerances, sections, and projections.
Valuable understanding of engineering drawing standards and practices.
Knowledge of MS Office applications.
Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively with Engineers and project teams.

Preferred
Exposure to AutoCAD 3D or other drafting/design software
Experience in preparing fabrication and manufacturing drawings will be preferred.
