About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MES Engineer to join our team at Ascendion India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and upgrading MES software to meet production requirements. They will also be involved in integrating shop-floor machinery with enterprise platforms, troubleshooting system issues, and optimizing manufacturing processes.

Job Title

MES Engineer

Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and upgrade MES software such as Opcenter and Camstar to align with production needs.
Integrate shop-floor machinery, PLCs, HMIs, and IIoT devices with enterprise platforms like SAP/ERP.
Monitor system performance, resolve data communication failures, and provide L1/L2 technical support.
Gather functional requirements, conduct gap analysis, and run User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Required Skills
Proficiency in deploying and configuring MES software.




Experience in integrating shop-floor machinery with enterprise platforms.
Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to provide technical support.
Knowledge of gathering functional requirements and conducting UAT.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Expertise in Process Automation and Control Systems.

Desirable Skills
Certification in MES software deployment.
Experience with Opcenter and Camstar MES software.
Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and IIoT devices.
Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.

Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in MES, Process Automation, or Control Systems.

Work Location
Onsite in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
