Manage database objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, users, and privileges.

Perform routine health checks and system monitoring.

Handle capacity planning and storage management.

nPerformance Tuning & Optimization

Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries.
n
Monitor system performance and resource utilization.
n
Tune data distribution keys and zone maps for effective query execution.
n
Identify and resolve database bottlenecks.
n

nBackup, Recovery & Disaster Recovery

n

n
Implement and manage backup and restore strategies.
n
Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
n
Ensure high availability and business continuity requirements are met.

nSecurity & Compliance

n

n
Manage user access controls and database security.
n
Implement auditing and compliance requirements.
n
Monitor security vulnerabilities and apply fixes.
n

nData Migration & Integration

n

n
Support ETL processes and data warehouse operations.
n
Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching activities.
n
Work closely with data engineering and application teams.

nTroubleshooting & Support

Diagnose and resolve database incidents and performance issues.
n
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues.
n
Support 24x7 production settings and participate in on-call rotations.
