Job Summary

SONA College of Technology is looking for a creative and skilled Photographer & Videographer to create high-quality visual content for institutional events, student activities, social media, branding and promotional campaigns.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in photography, videography and video editing, with the ability to independently plan, shoot and edit engaging visual content.

Key Responsibilities
Capture high-quality photos and videos of college events, student activities and institutional programmes.
Create and edit reels, short videos, promotional videos, interviews and social media content.
Handle cameras, lighting, audio equipment and other production tools.
Edit photographs and videos for digital, social media and promotional use.
Coordinate with departments for scheduled shoots and content requirements.
Develop creative visual content aligned with institutional branding.
Organise and maintain photo, video and media archives.

Required Skills
Photography and Videography
Video Editing




Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro or similar software
Adobe Photoshop / Lightroom
Social Media & Reels Content Creation
Basic knowledge of lighting and audio setup
Creative storytelling and visual composition

Eligibility
1–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Candidates with solid practical skills and an excellent portfolio may also be considered.
Freshers with an exceptional photography/video portfolio can apply.

Added Advantage
Drone photography/videography experience.
Experience in institutional, corporate or event photography.
Knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics.
Experience creating Instagram Reels and other short-form content.

Portfolio Required Candidates are requested to share a portfolio or sample work such as:
Photography portfolio
Video/Reel samples
Instagram / YouTube portfolio
Google Drive or other work links

Selection will be based on experience, practical skills and portfolio quality. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
