Job Responsibilities
Dispense medicines as per doctor’s prescription.
Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate dosage and medication instructions.
Maintain proper stock of medicines and medical supplies.
Monitor expiry dates and maintain inventory records.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff regarding medications.
Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
Maintain pharmacy records, bills, and daily stock registers.
Check incoming medicines and verify quantity and quality.
Follow hospital pharmacy procedures and safety guidelines.
Provide basic information to patients regarding medication usage as instructed.
Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Requirements
Qualification: D.Pharm / B.Pharm
Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
Fresher or 0–2 years of relevant experience.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medicines.
Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
