Job Summary:

The Pre-Primary Associate Teacher supports the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning setting for young children. The teacher assists with classroom activities, child development, lesson implementation, classroom management, and communication with parents.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher in planning and conducting age-appropriate learning activities.
Support children in developing social, emotional, language, cognitive, and motor skills.
Conduct activities involving rhymes, stories, music, art, craft, games, and hands-on learning.
Maintain a warm, secure, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
Assist with classroom routines such as arrival, departure, meals/snacks, and transitions.
Observe children's behaviour, participation, and developmental progress and share observations with the lead teacher.
Provide individual attention and support to children who need additional assistance.
Encourage valuable habits, communication skills, cooperation, sharing, and independence.
Assist in preparing teaching-learning materials,



displays, worksheets, and activity resources.
Support the implementation of the school's curriculum and CBSE-aligned early-years practices.
Maintain basic classroom records and assist with student assessments/documentation.
Communicate professionally with parents and staff when required.
Participate in school events, celebrations, workshops, and co-curricular activities.
Follow all school policies related to child safety, hygiene, discipline, and safeguarding.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate degree; NTT / Montessori / ECCE / D.El.Ed. qualification is an advantage.
Experience working with pre-primary children is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, creativity, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively with the lead teacher and school team.
Basic computer skills are desirable.
