Role & responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demands, including managing batch sizes, color changes, and scheduling different paint types (e.g., water-based (mainly) and solvent-based).
Process Optimization & Technical Control: Specialize in specialized paint manufacturing processes like grinding, thinning, mixing, and dispersion to improve efficiency.
Quality Control & Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure paint products meet specifications regarding color matching, viscosity, gloss, and coverage.
Raw Material & Inventory Management: Collaborate with purchasing departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials (pigments, solvents, resins, and additives etc).
Equipment Maintenance & Safety: Ensure preventive maintenance of machinery like sand mills, dispersers, and reactors, and adhere to strict safety regulations for handling hazardous materials.
Staff Management & Training: Supervise, train,



and schedule production personnel to create a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards, particularly regarding hazardous waste disposal and emissions in paint production.
Other production, process, and related activities:
Coordinate and manage the production on a day-to-day basis. Ensuring the best utilization of production capacity, deployment of manpower, and other resources.
Ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Ensuring proper maintenance of all the norms as per the departmental operating procedures and guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile
BE/BTech Chemical/MSc Chemistry/ MSc Polymer Science.
Experience: 15-20yrs

Language Local language -Telugu, Hindi, English
